The company Reforms21 is implementing the project:
„ReML – automatic refactoring of legacy enterprise-class software using large language models” (acronym: ReML).
Project Objectives:
- Development of an innovative, globally unique ReML service: This service will enable the efficient modernization of legacy systems.
- Expansion into foreign markets: Grow and expand the company into international markets—particularly the USA and the Middle East—by promoting innovative products and establishing business relationships.
- Enhancement of competitiveness: Improve the company’s competitive edge through the development of modern AI-based technologies and by securing intellectual property protection in international markets.
Project Outcomes:
- Implementation of the ReML service: The developed technology will be integrated into the company’s operations and made available to business partners on a licensing basis.
- International recognition: Through promotional activities and the acquisition of reference clients, the company will strengthen its position in foreign markets.
- IP protection: Secure patent protection and trademarks in the USA and other key markets.
- New knowledge and competencies: Acquire essential expertise in AI-assisted modernization of enterprise-class software, which will pave the way for future innovative projects.
- Increased revenue and competitive position: The project’s implementation will contribute to higher revenues and a stronger market position in the IT sector.
The project, carried out by Reforms21 Sp. z o.o., comprises two modules: R&D and Internationalization.
R&D Module:
Within this module, research and development activities are planned to create the innovative ReML service. This solution will enable the cost-effective modernization of legacy systems based on Oracle Forms and Oracle DB to modern open source technologies such as Java and PostgreSQL. The work will include:
- Creation of specialized toolkits: Develop toolkits supported by advanced LLMs (Large Language Models) to facilitate code migration between technologies.
- Development of documentation generators: Create generators for business and test documentation for the migrated systems.
Internationalization Module:
This module focuses on promotional activities and protecting the project’s intellectual property value in foreign markets, including:
- Participation in international trade fairs and industry conferences: Targeting events in the USA, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Asia, and Europe.
- Business missions: Engage in missions to establish cooperation with local business partners.
- Marketing activities: Conduct online promotions via GoogleAds and LinkedIn.
- Patent filing and IP protection: File patent applications and secure intellectual property rights in the USA.
- Local representation: Ensure the availability of a local sales representative in the USA and build a base of reference clients.
Target Audience:
- Corporate clients and institutions: Organizations using legacy systems based on Oracle Forms and Oracle DB that are seeking modern and cost-effective solutions for migration to open source technologies.
- Business partners: Entities in the IT sector and system integrators interested in collaborating on the implementation of the ReML service.
- International markets: Especially the USA, the Middle East, and Europe, where there is high exposure to Oracle products.
The project combines innovation, complementary activities, and potential for international development, aligning with the company’s growth strategy.

Reforms21 Sp. z o.o. has successfully completed the project:
„Enhancement of the Re_Forms 21 Platform through Increased Automation of Migration and Significant Technological Modernization.”
The project was implemented as part of Measure 1.1 – R&D Projects for Enterprises, Sub-measure 1.1.1 – Industrial Research and Development Executed by Companies, within the scope of projects from less developed regions under the Smart Growth Operational Programme 2014-2020.
Project Objective
The aim of the project was to expand the Re_Forms21 v3 platform with an innovative and globally unique solution enabling the automatic modernization of legacy systems developed using Oracle Forms technology.
The project focused on enabling further development of the application, ensuring its independence from the Oracle Forms API and Oracle database, as well as adapting it for mobile devices and cloud-based environments.
Achieved Outcomes
As a result of the project, a significantly enhanced, intelligent Re_Forms21+ platform was developed. It is equipped with modern functionalities that address key technological challenges reported by Reforms21 Sp. z o.o. customers.
The developed solutions have not only increased the platform’s usability but also ensured its competitiveness in the modern technology market.
